·      playtest information (such as details of playtest statistics about our games).

Wren Games uses this data to:

 

·      send marketing information to those subscribed to our mailing lists including but not limited to updates on our games and reviews of games of interest by other publishers;

·      communicate with play testers about the feedback that they have provided to us;

·      undertake market research to better understand our target audience;

·      deliver products to customers;

·      undertake shipping and cost estimates using any country information.

The lawful bases for processing this information, in line with Article 6 of the GDPR, are:

(a) Consent: Clear consent that you as an individual have given for Wren Games to process your personal data for a specific purpose.

Most information provided to Wren Games is voluntary. In order to comply with data protection legislation, Wren Games will always inform you if the information requested is mandatory or voluntary.

In general, Wren Games does not share any information with third parties. Occasionally we may process anonymised data for use in blog articles (e.g. country of residence) or publish quotes. We will always seek permission to use any data that is not anonymised or that could be traced back to an individual.

 

Why Wren Games shares information

Wren Games will only share personal data with our fulfilment partners for both order management and delivery of goods. In all other circumstances, written consent will always be sought before disclosing information that could be traced back to an individual. Anonymised data may be used for blog articles to help other designers within the board game community.
